Room Integrity Testing

ENSURING YOUR CRITICAL DATA ROOMS ARE PROTECTED

Room Integrity Tests (RIT) are undertaken for spaces that are protected by a gaseous fire suppression system. The purpose of the test is to ensure that the room will hold the extinguishant gas in a sufficient way that the fire can be extinguished as designed and that there are no leaks in the room.

EDSB can carry out the RIT testing and also undertake any required repairs to seal the space using the appropriate material. This should be carried out on an annual basis or following any structural alternations to a protected room.
