Role Description

We are looking to recruit a Southern Business Development Manager to work across the Southern region.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify new business opportunities, with a focus on maintenance contracts
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients to up sell EDSB’s services
  • Seek out the decision maker in potential client’s organisation to raise EDSB’s profile
  • Generate leads via sales development
  • Arrange meetings and attend appointments for new prospects
  • Building strong relationships with new clients in your area
  • Ensure EDSB is represented to a high standard
  • Report on growth areas & clients
  • Work together with the Southern Regional Sales Manager
  • Meet and exceed agreed KPIs & targets
    We expect the post holder to exercise some flexibility as the role is very reactive and may not be limited to the above.


Required Skills

  • Experience in a Sales role within the Fire & Security industry (preferred not essential)
  • Motivated to work hard and hit targets
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
  • Commercially aware
  • Current UK driving licence
  • Excellent organisation, written and numerical skills
  • Excellent timekeeping and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a high pressured environment and be able to react to rapidly changing circumstances ▪ Self motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactiveness


Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break.  Salary will be discussed at interview stage.
