The EDSB Group of Companies have hosted their first training course at the newly opened Design & Training Centre in Leeds last month.
The 2 day FIA Foundation course was organised by Central Support Administrator Sam Lister in conjunction with Melena Blake, Training Co-Ordinator at the FIA.
EDSB will host a series of courses at our facility over the next 12 months to ensure our employees are upto date on compliance legislation and can further their knowledge within all Fire & Security disciplines.
EDSB’s Managing Director Jonathan Parker was delighted to see the first training session successfully completed at the Leeds DTC: ‘Since we officially opened our Design & Training Centre in the Summer we have worked tirelessly to facilitate a constant training environment, which enables the Management to constantly select parts of their team to receive continuous development and remain at the forefront of Fire Safety & Compliance. We are working towards building a training module across all disciplines for New, Existing and Apprentice team members so that our whole team have confidence when protecting our clients workplaces. We are proud to admit we can all keep learning in a world of evolving legislation and improvements in standards, that’s why it is important to train all engineering personnel and maintain that high standard across the board.
