EDSB Compliance Solutions are honoured to support another grassroots football team this year, Farsley Celtic Juniors FC. Not only are we delighted to have a new edition to our club sponsorship campaign, as a Leeds based business it is great to have another local team to cheer on this season.
EDSB are always on the lookout for worthy causes to support and when we were introduced to Farsley Celtic Juniors FC it was clear we had found just that. Team Manager Darren Goodall explains what this club is all about:
“Farsley Celtic Juniors FC have teams running from under 7’s right through to open age groups as well as a ladies team, aiming to be a club that is inclusive to all in the local area. My son began training with the club at age 5, which led to me taking on management of the team. We have a mix of girls and boys in the team which I manage, making up 25 players and we will be competing in two leagues this season with fixtures across West, South and North Yorkshire. Earlier in the year we were fortunate enough to play in a tournament at Elland Road where 8 of my starstruck and excited players graced the turf in front of hundreds of family and friends – an amazing experience, even for their Stoke City supporting manager!
Being a very close and well-structured club, we encourage as much interaction between all of the groups as we can with monthly manager meetings to ensure that quality and delivery remains consistent. We have created a list of core values, revolving around: respect, honesty, integrity, development, and passion, and they are intrinsic to how the whole club performs and operates.
Although this is all wonderful, where each age group requires huge support is via funding. The price of everything has risen sharply as we are all aware and that certainly includes kids’ football kits and hence, we needed to seek a suitable and generous partner to cover such costs. I was introduced to EDSB, liked what I saw in such a dynamic looking company who were thankfully open to meet with me and discuss how we could work together. Our principles and views were aligned and as a result, EDSB have been extremely generous in their support, culminating in a wonderful full kit and tracksuit top for 25 children, emblazoned with the company logo.
We are so thankful to EDSB for their donation and will be very proud to sport the company logo throughout the coming season and we are hopeful that we can impress you sufficiently so that you’ll want to partner us in future seasons. From 25 well kitted out and happy kids, not withstanding the coaches and parents, we genuinely thank EDSB for their generosity and support.”
