Role Description:
We are now looking to recruit an Trainee Fire Door Designer to work with our Passive Fire team at our Leeds office, and the duties are as follows:
- Work closely with the Passive Fire team to develop, design and prepare quotations and drawings for new and existing customers
- Downloading FDI reports from Boris – training will be given
- Updating C4W – training will be given
- Liaising with CRMs/CRDs/Small Works team
- Dealing with suppliers for quotes, certification, data sheets
- Updating master cost sheet/SOR matrices with price increases
- Input supplier quotes into cost sheets
- Fill out quotation documents
- Update Passive Fire Department team quote spreadsheet
- To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
Required Skills:
- A joinery background is preferable, or a good understanding of Fire Doors and Passive Fire – relevant training will be given
- A willingness to attend college for work-based learning if required.
- A full driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country
- Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to work well as a member of a team
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn

Role Description:
We are now looking to recruit an Extinguisher Engineer is to cover London and surrounding areas. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining Fire Extinguishers across a range of clients. This is a field based full time role.
Working in line with the current standards, the Engineer will also be expected to build professional relationships with our clients.
No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided for the successful candidate. Applications are welcomed from field based Technicians or experienced Extinguisher Technicians currently working within the Fire Protection and Service industry.
This role will include but not limited to the items below :
- Service and maintain Fire Extinguishers across our client base.
- Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
- Be responsible for the management and security of vehicle stock, tools and equipment.
- Build professional relationships with all clients.
- Ensure standards are maintained to current standards.
- Maintain accurate and precise documentation of works completed.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience of maintaining fire extinguishers is desirable, however full training will be given.

Role Description:
We are looking to recruit a Remote Engineer Desk (RED) Engineer. The position will be based at the Leeds office within the Engineer Attendance team, working closely with the call despatchers to filter any calls that may be assisted and fixed via support over the phone.
The role will consist of, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Utilise Cash for Windows for checking previous call history.
- Utilise Cash for Windows to raise, assign and close Remote Engineer Desk calls.
- Liaise with Engineer Attendance directly to filter potential Remote Engineer Desk calls.
- Liaise directly with customers to obtain the correct details and site contacts.
- Liaise directly with end users to provide technical support response.
- Utilise the main server and site log in connections to achieve remote connection to site.
- Assist field engineers remotely to allow remote connections to monitored systems.
Required Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A vast technical knowledge in all aspects of Fire & Security products:

We are now recruiting a Water Hygiene Technician to join our Passive Fire & Water Hygiene team, to work in the South Yorkshire/Midlands area.
Reporting daily to your Field Manager, the successful candidate will visit clients’ sites and be the face of the company, seeking to enhance relationships with existing clients. You will be carrying out key duties to ensure their systems are kept compliant. You will be working alongside likeminded and supportive colleagues to provide a great customer service.
The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Descaling of shower head and hoses.
- TMV servicing
- Tank cleans and inspections
- Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers
- Mains injection pipework chlorination works

Role Description:
We are now looking to employ a Service Engineer to work in London (Redhill, Surrey area). We are also looking for a northern based Service Engineer to cover the Cumbria region.
As a Service Engineer you will carry out the routine maintenance of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Portable Extinguishers, Disabled refuge and call/toilet systems, smoke vents, dampers Emergency Lighting, in accordance with the current Standards and Codes of Practice.
This role will include but not limited to the items below :
- Provide first line support for fault finding and rectification
- Complete small works installations
- Commission and handover of systems in line with the specification and drawings, including client demonstrations
- Completion of the relevant e-documentation (via tablet) or paperwork in line with SSAIB requirements
- Check the Engineer Planner when it is sent out to ensure all upcoming work is prepared for
- Raise any concerns as soon as possible so they can be dealt with prior to the job taking place
- Carry out daily checks as a minimum to ensure correct kit is in place for the job
- Servicing and maintaining various systems, to include small works installations and fault finding
- Demonstrate systems for clients, and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms
- Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of multi disciplined systems to include emergency lighting and portable extinguishers
- Commission/ Handover of systems
- Be part of an On Call Rota for OOH callouts and telephone support
- Carry out small works installations of multi disciplined systems to a high standard of workmanship
- Installation/commission of portable extinguishers
- Understanding the clients’ needs and fulfil all jobs required
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with Company policy.
- To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
Required Skills:
- Proven background and experience of Electrical and Mechanical installations within the Fire and Security sector, including Fire Extinguishers.
- Network/IP based product experience is beneficial.
- Good communication skills are required as the majority of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
- The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time as well as being a good team player
- A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
