TESTING AND MONITORING OF YOUR VENTILATION AND SPECIALIST EXTRACT SYSTEMS.
The internal condition and cleanliness of your ventilation ductwork is of vital importance.
Ductwork can develop a build up of dust, dirt, grease and in some cases bacteria which if left un-cleaned can lead to issues including a reduction in system efficiency, air quality / health issues and an enhanced risk of fire spread. In the case of grease i.e. in kitchen extract systems it is also highly likely that a poorly maintained system would invalidate the building insurance, in the event of a fire.
EDSB can provide a regime of deposit thickness testing (DTT) for general ventilation ducts and wet film thickness testing (WFTT) for kitchen extract ducts in order to ensure that they are clean or identify any cleaning works should these be required.
When required, EDSB can then offer a range of cleaning solutions for both general ventilation and kitchen extract ductwork, including the installation of access hatches where needed.
