Fixed Wire Testing is necessary as part of the Electricity at Work Act, ensuring your installation is in a safe condition. This periodic service is available from EDSB and we recommend that you incorporate this into your Annual Maintenance Agreement to safeguard your compliancy. We carry out a full inspection of your installation and once we have successfully tested it, we certify it.
Our range of Security Lighting can help protect your property as a strong deterrent from unwanted visitors. We can provide manual, motion driven or timer style set-ups and link in to your CCTV or Access Control system. High standard Security Lights can also provide added safety to your property covering External Walkways, Service Roads, areas without street lighting as well as Entrances and Exits.
Portable Appliance Testing ( PAT ) is the process of an in-service inspection and testing of Electrical equipment. Our testing process involves a visual inspection of your equipment and any flexible cables for good condition, also where required, verification of earthing continuity, and a test of the soundness of insulation between the current carrying parts, and any exposed metal that may be touched.
