Simon Glew joined EDSB in 2013 while it was still in its infancy. He helped the team write and implement some of its processes and procedures, along with growing and managing the Service and operational departments. He is now the Service Director for EDSB.

Simon has been in the Fire and Security industry for just over 30 years during which time he has gained a wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts within the sector which he continues to invest into EDSB.

Paula Sacares has been in the fire and security industry since 2000 and having joined EDSB over 7 years ago, her broad knowledge means that she has played an integral part in setting up the infrastructure of various central teams within the business, whilst EDSB was in its infancy.

As well as heading up the Central Support team, Paula also creates and manages the management reports. Her inimitable eye for detail means that she and her team manage the highly regulated processes such as training, vetting, health and safety, accreditations and memberships, as well as writing process documents for the business.

Michael Butler has been with EDSB for 5 years, He has 9 years’ finance experience within the Fire & Security industry and has been in the auditing and finance field for over 33 years.

Michael heads up the finance team, which includes credit control and Purchase ledger

Angela Wilson has been with EDSB for over 8 years, and in the Fire & Security Industry for over 15 years. She is responsible for managing the Business Support Team & IT Department.

Angela has over 30 years’ experience in customer service roles and drives her team to make sure customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

Andy Louden has been with EDSB for 5 years, initially joining the business to expand the projects division. Andy has over 15 years’ industry experience and is now responsible for the Installation Department across the group, building a strong, technically focused team to deliver a wide range of complex projects.

Adam Wider has over 20 years’ experience in Facilities Management and so brings a valuable client-side view of service delivery to EDSB. Having joined EDSB just over 12 months ago, Adam has shaped the Passive Fire division including successfully achieving the IFC Certification third party accreditation. Adam is also responsible for the Water Hygiene division which is taking shape and will be launched officially in Q4, 2022.

Adam is a very methodical, client focussed operator who strives for continuous improvement in all areas and believes that everyone in the business should be encouraged to ‘challenge the norm’.

Mark Solomon has been with EDSB for over 4 years and his background of Marketing within the Fire & Security industry exceeds 20 years. Mark is also responsible for managing the Procurement and Stores departments with an experienced team behind him.

One of Mark’s greatest strengths is to continuously improve EDSB’s offering, not only to our loyal clients but also with the events organised for EDSB’s One Team.

Ken Wilson started work at EDSB in 2014 as an Account Director, his main focus was to bring new clients to EDSB. Since then, he has been promoted to Group Client Relationship Director and manages the team of Client Relationship Managers as well as the Electronic Fire and Security Design Team, Passive Fire Design Team and Small Works Estimators, and most recently a team of Technical Surveyors

Ken’s key strengths are to manage his teams successfully whilst ensuring all clients receive the best possible service

Anna Brown has been with EDSB for three years and brings with her 20+ years in HR from a variety of industries. Bringing a different approach into the fire and security industry, Anna’s remit is to ensure that EDSB is a modern and progressive business from a people perspective, with strategies in place to ensure there are opportunities for growth for all employees in EDSB.

As well recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits and people management, Anna and her team are also responsible for the development of the apprentices within EDSB. This involves a strategy of ‘grow our own’, which means heavy investment across all our apprentices and trainees through the UK.

Adam Cramp has been with EDSB for 6 years and is a New Business Director in the new business development team. Starting in the Fire & Security industry after university, he’s worked in sales & account management for over 13 years.

Adam’s focus is to develop positive working relationships with existing major clients, tender for national maintenance contracts and support mobilisations with the operational and CRM teams.

Craig Crunkhorn has been working at EDSB for over 6 years, progressing from account management to his current role as Client Relationship Director. He has 22 years’ experience within the fire and security industry, having moved over into this sector from the electrical industry in 2000.

Having undertaken roles in engineering, systems designs and sales, along with contract management and new business tenders, he has a very rounded overview of the fire compliance requirements within our industry for both installation and PPM

James Sirrell is the founder of EDSB and started the company back in 2008, his background has been in the electrical industry. He became joint partners with Jonathan Parker, the current MD, in 2012. As a forward thinking business owner, his passion is to continually invest in the growth of EDSB.

Jonathan Parker has been in the fire and security industry for 28 years and is co-owner and Group Managing Director of EDSB. In his role as MD, he is responsible for designing and implementing strategies to develop and grow the business, increase sales and drive overall business performance.

Jonathan is ultimately responsible for the eleven-strong Management Team, which he works closely with on a day to day basis, to cover every aspect of the business.
