EDSB, in partnership with our independent, accredited UKAS laboratories, can provide Legionella sampling and results interpretation as required.
Legionella testing is recommended when water is distributed at low temperatures or there is a lack of confidence in the water system integrity. It should also be carried out when a water system is brought back under control to establish and demonstrate a satisfactory ‘baseline’ in accordance with ACoP L8, or where there is a high-risk population or critical exposure such as a hospital or a healthcare premises.
EDSB will interpret the laboratory results, provide certification following the samples and issue quotations for any required corrective actions.
