Service Engineers  (Surrey/London/South Coast/North East/Scotland)

We are looking for Service Engineers to carry out the routine maintenance of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Portable Extinguishers, Disabled Refuge and Call/Toilet Systems, Smoke Vents, Dampers & Emergency Lighting, in accordance with the current Standards and Codes of Practice.  We have positions across the Midlands, London, the South of England and Scotland.

Fire Door Inspectors/Joiners (North/North West/South)

We are looking to recruit Fire Door Inspectors/Joiners throughout the UK, who will be responsible travelling regionally to a variety to sites to inspect fire doors and carry out joinery work.  Applications are welcomed from experienced Fire Door Inspectors currently working within the Fire Protection and Service industry.

Fire Damper Engineer (Birmingham)

We are now looking to recruit a Fire Damper Engineer in the Midlands, who will be responsible for travelling regionally to a variety of sites to carry out the testing, maintenance and installation of fire and smoke dampers. 

Passive Fire Engineers (North West/ South)

We have roles for Passive Fire Engineers in the North West and South, who will be responsible for travelling regionally to a variety to sites to carry out the installation of fire stopping systems.   Applications are welcomed from experienced Fire Stopping Engineers currently working within the Passive Fire, Fire Protection and Service industry.

Install Engineers (Yorkshire/Midlands/Milton Keynes)

We have vacancies in the Yorkshire, Midlands and Northamptonshire/Milton Keynes areas for Install Engineers.  This role will involve multiple system type installation to pre-commissioning of Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and DDA systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice.

Engineer Attendance Co-ordinators (Leeds)

We have vacancies for three Engineer Attendance Co-ordinators based in the Leeds DTC.  This role involves liaising with customers, being a point of contact for engineers, booking in works with customers and dispatching engineers to cover callouts.

Portals Administrator/Sales Admin Administrator

We have roles within our Business Support team for a Sales Admin Administrator and a Portals Administrator.  The Sales Administrator role involves managing the Sales inbox, distributing sales orders to the relevant CRM, checking sales enquiries, and creating proforma invoices where required.


The Portals Administrator will respond to client requests and provide information when needed, keep customer portals updated with attendance dates, completion of jobs, and upload of dockets.

Role Description

We are now looking to recruit a Passive Fire Technical & Quality Manager to work alongside our team of Passive Fire Engineers, ensuring that our Passive Fire Protection / Fire Stopping Installations and surveys are carried out in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and fire safety regulations.  In addition, the role will ensure that best practice is followed throughout the division, including on site projects from pre-commencement to completion.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Passive Fire Protection specifications and quality management, with a passion to ensure the required quality standards are met and maintained.

A background in Fire Stopping and Passive Fire Protection is essential, and you will require previous experience of managing passive fire protection installations and surveys in a similar business. A background in, or good understanding of, the construction industry is also desirable.

Role Description

We are now looking to employ a Stores Assistant/Driver to work within our Stores Team out of our Leeds office. The position will involve driving to a range of destinations throughout the UK to deliver and collect EDSB kit from our nationwide team of engineers, as well as providing support to the Ops and Stores teams.

The successful person will have a full clean driving licence and good communication skills. The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:

-           Driving a company van throughout the UK

-           Delivery and collection of equipment at on-going jobs nationwide

-           Replenishing and collecting stock from our regional stores units in Glasgow, Dartford, Cannock and Leicester

-           Load and unload the van at each location, which may require the lifting of heavy boxes or parcels

-           Completion of collection and return paperwork

-           Keep in communication with the Stores team to advise of any changes to schedule, delays or issues

-           Keep company van clean and tidy and carry out the required vehicle checks

-           Drive safely and adhere to the Vehicle Management System guidelines

-           Assisting the Ops team in moving/tidying or clearing kit from sites

-           Carry out despatch tasks as required, via Post Office or courier

-           Provide ad hoc assistance to the Stores team as required

-           Provide help and assistance to other teams as required – these tasks may be varied and range from mundane to interesting, but we are looking for a helpful and willing additional pair of hands.

The successful person will have a great telephone manner and good organisation skills. The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following :

• Speaking to clients on the telephone
• Booking work in for the Service Team
• Confirming with the Client that the job is booked in and confirming dates and times
• Calling sites direct to confirm work is booked in
• Taking instructions of any special requirements/instructions so the engineer is
fully prepared
• Confirming with engineers which jobs they have booked in and relay any
additional information
• Sending an email to the Client as follow up to confirm all the details
• Calling engineers to check on kit stock
• Answering any questions the client may have or referring them on to the
appropriate team

The ideal candidate should have :

• Some experience of administration in a fast paced environment
• Fantastic telephone manner, great communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Ability to juggle priorities and tasks
• Good at problem solving
• Knowledge of Cash 4 Windows desirable not essential
• Be able to think commercially, work quickly and accurately and have a
willingness to learn

Due to business growth we have a vacancy for an Engineer Team Leader to work with our Southern Engineering Team.

Duties will include, but are not limited to ; attending monthly service meetings, carrying out toolbox talks, carrying out engineer and vehicle audits, providing support to field engineers either by phone advice or on site when required, alongside carrying out normal engineering duties.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Area Manager and Technical Manager to provide excellent customer service delivery.

The ideal candidate should have a proven background and experience of electrical and mechanical installations within the Fire & Security sector, including fire extinguishers.
Good communication skills are required along with ability to work alone and effectively organise your time. A full driving licence and willingness to travel to locations across the country is needed, along with a flexible attitude to working hours.
