Automatic Fire

Specialists in Fire detection, EDSB have installed and maintained all levels of environments and sizes, working in partnership with leading manufacturers.

Fire Alarms

EDSB provides a comprehensive range of fire detection and evacuation systems, using the latest technology to safeguard both people and property.

Routine maintenance is carried out every six months. For larger installations with more than 200 devices or where SFG20 standards apply, we recommend quarterly servicing.

Door Holder

Hold-open devices help improve access and circulation within buildings, while ensuring fire doors automatically close upon alarm activation. These systems can be used alongside or instead of traditional fire door hardware.

EDSB offers full design, supply, installation and commissioning services for these systems.

EVCS

Also known as Disabled Refuge Systems, Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS) allow two-way communication between designated refuge points and a central control location—essential during emergencies when evacuation may not be immediately possible.

We recommend servicing these systems every six months.

Deaf Alerter System

Deaf Alerter pagers provide alerts for fire alarms or system faults to staff members or visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing. They play a vital role in ensuring safe evacuation for all building users.

EDSB can design, install, maintain and remotely monitor these systems. They should be serviced every six months.

Induction Loop

Induction loop systems enhance audio clarity for hearing aid users, especially in noisy environments or at service counters. Suitable for both small and large spaces, they promote inclusivity and accessibility.

Regular servicing is recommended every six months.

PAVA

Public Address and Voice Alarm Systems provide voice-guided evacuation during emergencies and can also be used for general announcements, background music and zoning messages.

EDSB handles design, supply, installation, commissioning and remote monitoring. Standard servicing is every six months; larger systems may require quarterly maintenance.

Aspirating System

Ideal for early smoke detection or hard-to-reach areas, aspirating systems draw in air to detect smoke at much higher sensitivity than standard detectors – up to 10,000 times more sensitive.

These systems should be serviced at least every six months. EDSB provides full design, installation, maintenance and monitoring services.
