EDSB’s July Donation Drive

In an amazing display of teamwork and generosity, EDSB recently concluded a successful clothing donation drive in partnership with Homeless Street Angels. Over the course of just one short month, this initiative managed to collect around 10 bin bags, almost bursting with warm clothes.

Homeless Street Angels is an award-winning charity based in Leeds. Established in 2016, the organisation provides weekly outreach services on the streets of the city centre. Every Thursday evening, they distribute food, clean clothes, toiletries and other essentials to the homeless. EDSB was eager to work with this local charity as we recognised their drive and commitment to improving our community.

This campaign was spearheaded by Lauren Carlton, one of the fantastic ambassadors of EDSB’s Sports and Social Club. With a clear vision in mind, Lauren organised this charity drive with the intention of providing much-needed support to those in need.

Lauren shared, “We hope this offering makes a few people’s lives a bit easier during the colder months”, reflecting on the success of the campaign. The clothing collection will without doubt provide some warmth and comfort to many individuals facing challenging circumstances.

A massive thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to this cause. Your effort in helping those less fortunate is very much appreciated.
