Supporting Getaway Girls: Creating Memories That Matter

EDSB are proud to continue our support of Getaway Girls, a Leeds-based charity working with girls and young women, as well as their families, to help them build confidence, develop resilience and reach their potential.

Our relationship with Getaway Girls is something we’re incredibly proud of and we’ve supported the charity on a number of occasions. This time, we wanted our support to be about creating memories and experiences for the girls – and for their mums too.

We funded a special trip to Flamingo Land for the girls, giving them the chance to enjoy a fun-filled day together, make memories and simply have the opportunity to be young, have fun and enjoy themselves.

We also funded a seaside trip to Scarborough for the mums and their children, giving families the chance to spend quality time together away from the everyday pressures they may face.
